Kiwi Power opens 4MW battery at Parc Stormy

On February 1st 2018, Kiwi Power, a UK demand response and energy resource aggregation company, unveiled its largest behind the meter battery to date with the completion of the 4MW / 4.8MWh Tesla battery at Parc Stormy.

The battery took three months to build and provides firm frequency response (FFR) to the National Grid via a two year contract offering 24 hour availability. The battery will make use of the onsite renewable energy produced by solar, wind and anaerobic digestion generation.
