Pencoed Secondary Year 9 Visit Parc Stormy
We were delighted to host a visit from Pencoed Secondary School year 9 pupils on Monday 25th June, 2018. The pupils asked many insightful questions, such as how the SOLCER house could produce enough power to run itself on cloudy days, how BREXIT would affect purchasing turbines, how the food waste is seperated from plastics in the AD process, and many more. They enjoyed going inside the turbine and seeing how food waste from their area is turned into electricity at Parc Stormy. It was a pleasure for us to host Pencoed Secondary and we encourage more school visits to help future generations think about how renewable energy will integrate with their lives.
