Planning application submitted for wind turbines at Llwyncelyn Farm
Cenin Renewables have submitted a planning application for two 2.5MW wind turbines to be installed at Llwyncelyn Farm, near Porth. Generating local income from the wind turbines means we can support the local community. We are hoping, if our planning application is successful, to sponsor three local primary schools and two community centres to improve the lives and learning outcomes for local residents. The two turbines will allow us to make an annual donation during the turbines’ twenty year operational lifetime.
The two turbines proposed at Llwyncelyn Farm would each produce 2.5MW of electricity. Together they would supply the total energy needs of approximately 4500 houses for the next 20 years. We have distributed the following newsletter in Porth and Ynyshir to let residents know about the development. Please get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
